Features

Ease of Use - Language patterns are maintained via
an intuitive, simple, rapid, point-and-click Graphical
User Interface (GUI).

Ease of Specification - Language patterns are specified
in a non-redundant, syntax-free manner that does not require
knowledge of programming language constructs or Artificial
Intelligence techniques. Patterns are developed using
an incremental, building-block approach.

Power - Recognition constructs are provided for character-,
word-, and phrase-level recognition. Related patterns
(e.g. - synonyms, abbreviations, spelling variations)
can be combined into logical groupings. Groupings may
be homogeneous or heterogeneous. Knowledge engineers have
complete control over the strictness of each pattern match.

Flexibility - Knowledge engineers can combine patterns
in innumerable ways, and thus may construct knowledge
model designs tailored to their individual preferences.

Integrated Test Environment - Language patterns can
be tested incrementally as they are developed, and may
be tested individually or in combination with other patterns.
Thus, knowledge engineers can test atomic-level patterns,
the entire knowledge base, or anywhere in between.
Integrated Delivery Environment - A variety of
utilities are provided that allows the knowledge engineer
to optimize knowledge bases for run-time performance.

Platforms
Windows: NT, 2000, XP, 98.
